Have you ever wanted to be a part of something exciting that really made a difference in someone?s life? If so, The Northwest Volunteer Fire Department is looking for quality people. We are looking for people who want to excel. The Northwest Volunteer Fire Department serves 22 square miles of Northwest Harris County along the Veteran?s Memorial, SH 249 and North Sam Houston Tollway corridors. We are staffed by a small contingent of paid staff from 6AM until 6 PM Monday through Friday. But our night and weekend staffing is by a staff of highly dedicated professional volunteers. We serve the following subdivisions with quality Fire Suppression, Fire Education, and Rescue Services:

    So you don?t want to go charging into burning buildings? We have a support staff made up of dedicated volunteers who provide much needed support on the scene outside of the burning buildings. How much does it cost? It only costs you some time. Northwest Volunteer Fire Department provides all protective equipment and training.

    If you are a young person attending Klein Forest High School or Eisenhower High School, you may be interested in our Junior Firefighter program. If you think firefighting may be your career, come volunteer with us and start your career training now. Young men and women may apply at the age of 16 with a parent?s notarized consent. Many of our current staff started when they were high school students.
